We saw it by accident and it was okay, although it's message was too strong and detracted from could have been a very good storyline.  The characters all felt a bit alien e.g.: why did that younger cop shoot the black guy just for laughing?  Isn't that just a *touch* extreme?!

you didnt get it at all, did you.

as mex says, the cop thought he was pulling out a gun when really he was reaching for the st. christopher like the cop had on his dash.

"its message was too strong"

i think that was kind of the point of the film.

Yeh but even if he was going for a gun, it seemed a bit odd after he'd been laughing and how he totally over-reacted - he was fumbling in his hand, hardly quick on the draw was he?

And as for the message being too strong - there's a difference between conveying a message and ramming a message down people's throats so it is derogative to the storyline!  Having said that, it was very clever in the way it was written and the death of the guy at the end was quite poignant (I had tears in my eyes, but I cry at lots of films, well not cry but eyes water....  Titanic, Watership Down....   Cheesy  )
