Some news at last!!

So Cooper has changed his mind on Storey, didn't he say he was going to give him a chance this season or did I imaging that?

I'd still like to see him given a bit of a run here, but will trust that MC knows what he is doing.

Good luck to the lad. I rate him but he splits the crowd. I'd happilly give him a run here alongside Smith. I hope he goes to Pompey and scores shedloads particularly against the Scummers.

Hopefully this means that we either have someone coming in or that Williams is staying.

Or we can no longer afford his wages.

Still think it's a shame he wasn't given a fair crack. Though clearly MC watches him every day in training. Does mystify me how George barker is still here though.

I heard Williams could be out until Christmas, and yes I would put Storey much higher in the pecking order than Barker but as you rightly say MC does see him every day in training and has obviously made his own mind up on him.

Can't get rid of him if nobody else wants him and we cant exactly pay him off right now.

Cruciate ligament injury. Many footballers never come back from such an operation.

No, no, no. The Book of Exodus begins:

Quote
These are the names of the sons of Israel who went to Egypt with Jacob, each with his family: Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah; Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin; Dan and Naphtali; Gad and Asher. The descendants of Jacob numbered seventy in all; Joseph was already in Egypt.

Reckon someone's fobbed you off with a dodgy Gideon's there, FH

Depends what else we have up and our sleeve and what happens between now and August.

Always worth having a pacey player in the squad, even if it's just to come on as a sub and stretch the game.
