If we lose to CR, we can put Italy or Uraguay out. Plenty to lack of play for.

There isn't a coach that really stands out as ready/available for England at this moment in time.
Which is a part of a bigger problem with English football.

Italy and Uruguay certainly played better against England. Not sure because they up their game against us or we simply let them play. Maybe a combination of the two.

Maybe we're not as good as Costa Rica?

Maybe not, they're more organised defensively than us.

Well played Costa Rica. You were meant to come last in the group.
Now Italy or Uruguay to go home. Win/win.

Game Over. Cosa Rica through and Italy play Uruguay in a winner takes all match.
England go out.

England v Costa Rica, a dead rubber because one team is through and one team is out As for Woy....it's fair enough for Dyke to come out straight away and say he carries on to the next Euro....I felt a loss to Costa Rica, might have left him struggling to public opinion, but now as they're clearly better than us....a nothing to lose game he can try and experiment in....

Drop Rooney and Gerrard. Pick Shaw at LB. Give Barclay a run. Give another keeper a go as well. I would drop Cahill and Jagielka but you can't pick Jones or Smalling. Might as well give some youngsters some World Cup game time, given our shambles of a defence it may be the only opportunity they get.
