I have 2 year old  Citroen DS3 & have Just been quoted £340 for the second service by Arriba's favourite, Swindon motor park No have read some of the reviews on Google of said company and so say they are not very good at servicing, anyone know of a good place to take it in, or near Swindon

Another vote for Cross Street (the one in Old Town).

Family have used them for many years, decent prices and always been treated well.

All depends if you want the 'stamp'. I also use cross street garage but not for servicing. Their minor service is £100 but a dealer is only £20 more.

Yeah - I always kept to the main dealer until it got to the point it just wasn't worth worrying about anymore.

I haven't decided what I'll do when my car needs its next service - it's got main dealer stamps for the past 14 years, from new, and the incredibly anal side of my brain wants to keep it that way.

Mind you, depends what needs doing...

They're not manufacturer dealer stamps though, which used to make the difference - not sure it even matters anymore!

It might do if it comes to out of warranty negotiations. E.g. old boss car head gasket went just outside warranty. It easier to argue that their dealers has done the servicing within schedule and it shouldn't have happened so soon.. Legally of course I doubt the case had any more merit than if a regular garage did it (with OEM parts).

But there must be a crossover where the manufacturer will just laugh at you..I go to the most backstreet garage you'll find. The bloke there is very good.
