Who gives a shit about this? Can't wait for the day the media realise Women's football is a minority sport with a severe lack of ability. Deserves the same amount of coverage as the Wilts Premier League and that's being kind.

I don't have a problem with women's footy, but I just can't get interested in it.
I swear there was a quote from an Australian official/minister in the 90's that was something like "As a sport I view women's soccer just below going to a zoo and poking animals with a stick". Buggered if I can find it now.

I have a problem with it when it's reported on like the majority are interested in it. Same as women's cricket, 5 live read out the women's squad one day, there must have been under 100 people listening nationwide who'd have been the slightest bit interested.

Not reading it doesn't make it go away though Paul does it? Womens' football is pathetic but we're supposed to actually give a shit about it because that's how we're supposed to think. Bollocks to that.

I don't watch it but I've got no problems with Women's Football being reported et al. I've noticed that BBC Football online have been really pushing it recently (compared to what they used to).

No, of course not. But does it actually bother you that much? I didn't read the article Paul.
Probably a good job if the overreaction to a mere headline is anything to go by. I don't especially like cricket. So I tend not to read articles about it. I find that gets me through, by and large, while still allowing those who do like cricket to indulge their interest. I'm quite happy for them to do so. Everyone's a winner!

That's because it's one of the few live packages the BBC can still afford

They also have a sponsor (Intel) I noticed. Could they be our new sponsor?

Think that's more because the ladies team have come under the wing of Football in the Community who Intel have been sponsoring for some time. Arranged by separate teams I believe
