  SWINDON Town remain in discussions with defender Troy Archibald-Henville regarding the defender’s future, with no deal agreed yet.

I'm just not sure we can risk a player who might not be able to play two games a week, regardless of ability.

Yeah, it wouldn't fit with the assertion of a squad of 22-ish filled out with loanees having someone whose injury unfortunately makes them a bit of a luxury. It's a shame though, because we looked so much better with Troy in defence last season.

Still think for him to sign he'd have to have no other offers.

Pay as you play makes sense for us though.

I'd still rather have Troy for 25 or so games a season than take a chance on a newbie.

Leave him out of the cup games and he'll play most League games.
