  SWINDON Town midfielder Massimo Luongo has been selected in Australia's preliminary 30-man squad ahead of this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

My first reaction was that Mass would be amongst the 7 to be cut but they've selected four goalkeepers and look pretty heavy within the defensive and attacking players selected so you never know.

Well I don't think he'll be overly exhausted by, at best, a spell of bench-sitting during the first round games. Free holiday while maintaining his fitness.

That is true and being in the same group as Spain and Holland they most likely won't play more than 3 games.
