Jay of reflection for McEveley

Recently released Town full-back Jay McEveley talks to the Adver’s Sam Morshead about working with three owners, four chairmen, six managers and 59 players at what he calls a ‘unique club’

Sam, you really need to sit the headline writers down and ask them to have a bloody word with themselves. "Jay of reflection", FFS.

The adver has gone more tabloid esq in recent times. Some ridiculous headlines and attempted shocking stories. Probably trying to shift copies since they whacked the price of it up.
The decent stfc coverage is all that keeps it going I'd guess.

Also need to employ the good old fashioned proof reader at times, articles being duplicated (probably to fill up space!) including the same letters on consecutive days on letter page, terrible typographical errors and one day last week in their TV sport section they detailed all the sport from the previous week!!  It's gone downhill badly, but what do you expect when it is Oxford-based!!

I see sam is blocked from talking to cooper now in non official situations.

The POTY thing was a farce as well, not being able to present Thompson pitchside

He's been banned from anything other than press conf's for quite a while now no one at the club is allowed to talk to him outside of that.

I think it stems from some months back when Sam reported what another fan had said on twitter about seeing Ranger's shirt hung up in the changing room and cooper / power claimed P'boro changed their tactics after hearing this.

Opened this thread to say pretty much this.
