McEveley heads the list as Town  release 10 on season’s final day

JAY McEveley was the highest profile casualty as Swindon Town chose not to renew the contracts of 10 players last week.

It's still odd not to include Alan Navarro from the initial list... and Harry Agombar for that matter too.

Creates rumours, no very interesting rumours I grant you, but rumours all the same.

On the (excellent) Washbag podcast, there was a suggestion that the radio silence over Nav is to do with him still working things out with his insurer as he's having to quit the game through injury.

Agombar on the other hand might actually have a 2 year deal after all.

Nice one Jed.

Power said on the radio prior to kick off that we had paid him off and he was waiting for his insurance to come through as he's retired.

We may have paid him off, whether he has received the money or not is another matter Wink
