Boardroom battle delays contract talks

THE current boardroom wrangle at Swindon Town has delayed contract talks for a number of out-of-contract stars and youth-teamers waiting to discover whether or not they have earned their first pro deals.

This is a concern.  If this drags on we could be at risk of losing players over the summer.  Does Jed not understand that would just heighten his unpopularity or does he not give a shit?

I've no idea on what kind of court hearing this is, or on rights of appeal, or anything really.

I've no idea who is in the right, legally. But I guess it's not clear, that's why a court case is happening.

I've no idea what state the club is in. Whether bills are being paid. Whether power has invested this season. Etc. Etc.

Any answers gratefully received.

What a fucking mess. Again.

Never mind the legal costs......

No-one wants Jed, Murrell or any of their partners back.  They are at risk of destroying our club.  Go away.

Just when we thought the ownership of the club was sorted along comes another monkey throwing another spanner in the works.

Just get the fucking thing sorted FFS.

Well it's the High Court so it's an appeal for an earlier ruling...Power was unable to put the injunction in place so is appealing that.

I assume if there is some sort of shareholders agreement in place or Power doesn't own the majority stake.

Basically then, no contract talks till May if the ruling's on the 29th. Not the end of the world, but it would be better to have these things tied up early, especially regarding Jmac and Troy if we're planning on keeping them.
