Hard to believe that Torquay wouldn't have been better off sticking with Ling. Under him they had their best season in years - without him they are Conference bound. And it's hard to see them bouncing straight back into the Football League this time around.

Glad to hear of Martin getting back into football even if it is at a coaching and not managing level.

Good luck to him in his new job at Hornchurch.
