I believe "backsliding" is the real life equivalent of Ned Flanders getting bored and going to get smashed in Las Vegas. You are at some point suppose to realise that sex and alcohol are useless pastimes when you could be waving illiterate signs at people and praying for their incurable souls.

I can't work out how anyone is getting more than about 20 without being both female and gay and following 2 or 3 different contradictory religions.

I've only got 16 and some of those are just synonyms of each other.
