If Jed does win it begs the question why Power didn't take up his takeover option sooner. If he was that desperate to take full control why didn't he investigate it a lot sooner?

I can't think of anyone involved in this saga that hasn't behaved like a fucking idiot.

But I'd rather have someone not-so-savvy running the club (you would double check surely?) than one who is deliberately deceptive. It's not the best choice in the world to have to make but it's still a [relatively] easy one..

Quite. Leaving aside the two main protagonists, I thought the whole point of Sangita Shah was that she was brought in for her business "expertise". Yet she apparently presided over the meeting that created this sorry mess and prior to that failed to spot that (apparently) Power could have taken over but hadn't for several months. She's no Dragon's Den, is she?

But I'd rather have someone not-so-savvy running the club (you would double check surely?) than one who is deliberately deceptive.
Well, from what I can see at least one of them fits both those descriptions and it may yet turn out they both do. As you say, they all look like a bunch of fuckwits from where I'm sat.

Shouldnt laugh, given the situation we are in, but there are rumours floating round Oxford that Kassam is part of a consortium buying Oxford.

How did you guess

From Auf Wiedersehn Pet? That would fit right in with the rest of the comedy roadshow going on.

That would be like Diamandis being part of Jeds team.

Day 2 then and Jed is due to take the stand today.

I predict more comic cuts to come.
