I thought it was mentioned that he was a smoker and wouldn't stop when PDC decreed he must. However, if it is true that large salaries were being handed out left right and centre, then no wonder he would like to extend his stay. |

Being Scottish was probably enough, Paolo didn't like the fact the Romans never took over much further North than Newcastle.

Yep Some people seem convinced that we will lose such players as they will have to take a pay cut if they stay. What they seem to be unwilling to consider is that we may still offer them very reasonable terms even if they are less than the presumably over inflated deals they are on now. We may well still offer the best terms they receive, especially considering their injury problems. |
