Will always remember the Bakalli game, pretty much a party day out where the result was thankfully totally irrelevant.

Remember and was at the game, don't recall Bakalli at all!

It's only when I read threads about games/players of the fairly recent past that I realise how pissed up I was at nearly every one of them.

I don't remember any of the players mentioned and I used to go to every home game and about half the away games.

Either that or the Alzheimers is kicking in

Wasn't there that keeper who played that day. McKinney? Got him from Man City. Did he play more than once?

Had to cheat and look it up, Mildy started and Farr was sub.

Forgot we won the second half too. T'was Van Der Linden's last game wasn't it? Have a vague memory of some spat between him and Kingy? 13 years ago, fuck me.

edit: McKinney was the year after: 2002. His only game.

Yeah, seem to remember Van Der Linden went to sit in the side stand, far away from the dugout after he was subbed.

I was at that Stoke game. Good away support and 4-0 down at half time. The fightback in the second half was led by Rockin Robin who beat their pink Hippo mascot in a length of the pitch footrace thus giving our team the belief to go on and win the second half 1-0.

Remember the well done banner from Bristol City on one of the motorway bridges en route to the ground?

Yup, and a cardboard effort on a lampost somewhere en-route.
