Cooper hopes City display has answered the critics

SWINDON Town manager Mark Cooper hopes that his players “answered one or two critics” with their superb rearguard effort at Bristol City.

One hard fought point does not answer multiple bad performances - we have still only won once in 12 games (9 points from a possible 36).
We are having the opposite season to city, they started poor and are finishing well and we started well and are finishing extremely poorly.

The run of results is what is important - not any single game.

It doesn't, but it shows there is fight left in this squad should they choose to show it.

It's felt like a post season friendly  the last few matches, any change from that is welcome.

Fucking hell Cooper. Someone needs to remind the clown we nicked a scabby draw. Anyone would think we stuffed them 4-0.

A good manager has you up for EVERY match.

Great battling performance yesterday...it is needed every match,it is the least a team can give its fans whatever the result.

Yep, from reading some of the comments on twitter players like Nathan were well up for the game yesterday (as they should be). I would suggest that had less to do with the manager, and more to do with the opposition.

Got to agree Leefer. Question mark remains on cooper on this front. Yesterday was a big game for us but we need to show the effort more often.
