I could be on my own here but it seems Ward has been one of our main defensive problems for quite a while now. 7 games without keeping a clean sheet, Ward dropped and we keep a clean sheet, as well as the welcome return of Foderingham. Like you say, doubtful, but with 10 points sitting between us and 6th place and a fairly limited chance of us being sucked into a relegation battle, l would rather see Stephens given game time than Darren Ward.
