He had a good, if quiet, game by all accounts.

The press room would have been an interesting place to be, if you were Sam.

Struggling to find any info on this or a match report. Got any links in English please Flash? All i can glean is that he played the full 90 and they won 3 - 1.

From those highlights it's quite clear to see Kasim ran the show and deserved MOTM

Two and a half minutes highlights of one goal, it wasn't even that good.
I have to agree that Kasim stood out a mile from the rest and easily MOTM.

They would have lost at least 5-0 without him. FACT!

He also stands for a free tibet. One in the eye for the evil communist regime, for SuperKasim will not stand for such inhumanity. I heard he saves puppies in his spare time.

I watched most of the game and Kasim did well, played largely his usual game and usual position for 90 mins. Iraq were the better side for the bulk of the game so his job was mainly moving the ball simply to feed a pacey wide attack - he did hit some longer balls but not vastly successfully. He kept the ball well, showed his strength in holding off Chinese players but took a while to get used to a fairly duff and fussy ref.
Iraq were a bit if a 'broken team' with Yaser working nicely with the defensive unit but there wasn't that much interplay between the two sections. China were worse though and only tested later for the last 30 mins or so. Yaser didn't stand out hugely but he certainly wasn't the weakest Iraq player.
Otherwise MoM. Particularly for his second half exposé of corruption among Dubai visa officials and extensive fundraising to help protect the Patagonian miniature shrew.
