MARK Cooper has backed on-loan full-back Jamie Reckord to get through a difficult start to life in Swindon Town colours.

He certainly looks the comedy player that fans of his former clubs said he was. Lets just hope he doesn't arrive here on a permanent basis in the summer...

I don't get to see many games but I saw his first two appearances and thought he was utter shite. I'd rather have Drysdale back.....

I agree with the above poster about Alex Smith - what's wrong with giving him a chance? He surely, surely, couldn't be any worse.

So, Cooper has said that Barthram is one for next year.

Alex Smith has been injured for most of the season, but I thought he did well one of the few games he played didn't he? (Did he sign from Fulham or is he on loan?)

Cooper seems to talk about Reckord as if he is here for the long term. I thought all that had been announced was a short term loan?

See Tan's comment above, which I thought was a joke.  Maybe not?  I bloody hope it is. Dishing out permanent contracts to players who are average at best is not building for the future.

I was hoping for someone to chime in and verify Tans comment as fact or fiction.
