How many court cases has he got coming up:
May - Newport - Drink driving July - Swindon - Criminal damage
I'm sure the Adver had a June date listed in Newcastle, but I can't find it now. Maybe it was incorrect.
The Liverpool taxi assault?

The list as printed in the Adver is pretty shocking TBH. 2007: Ranger, 15, is sentenced to 11 weeks in a Young Offenders’ Institute following an armed robbery in London.
May 2011: The striker is pictured posing with a gun, said to be a replica, sparking criticism from the FA and fans. His club at the time, Newcastle, say: “Nile regrets posing for the photograph, which was taken by his girlfriend at home.”
August 2011: Ranger is arrested on suspicion of assault after a 33-year-old man was left unconscious following an attack.
October 2011: The front man is arrested and charged with being drunk and disorderly just days after being picked up on suspicion of drink driving in Newcastle.
March 2012: Ranger is fined £6,000 and warned of his future conduct by the FA after posting homophobic comments on Twitter.
September 2012: Ranger is arrested and charged with criminal damage after kicking down a door at the London home of his then girlfriend. He claimed he believed she was being kidnapped. The court accepted the reason and the case was dropped.
October 2012: The forward is handed a conditional discharge by Newcastle Crown Court after admitting to assaulting two police officers during a night out in the city. Two more serious charges of attacking two members of the public were dropped after prosecutors reviewed the case.
January 2013: Ranger is arrested on suspicion of rape at his home on Tyneside. He is taken to Wallsend Police Station for questioning and released on bail.
April 2013: Ranger is given a 12 months community order after admitting common assault. The striker pulled the hair of his girlfriend at the time: Shakire Bicar: in a street row. He was ordered to do 120 hours’ unpaid work.
February 2014: Ranger is arrested in Newcastle on suspicion of breaking the conditions of his bail. He was later cleared.
February 2014: Ranger misses a court date in south Wales on a drink drive charge.
March 2014: Ranger is found not guilty of rape by a jury at Newcastle Crown Court.
March 2014: The former Southampton trainee pleads not guilty to drink driving at a Newport court.
March 2014: Ranger is arrested by police on suspicion of criminal damage on a Liverpool taxi. The 23-year-old was questioned by officers after allegedly damaging the vehicle following a row with the driver at around 6am in the city.
April 2014: Wiltshire Police say they want to speak with the striker after he is allegedly caught on CCTV slapping and punching a woman and breaking down the door to his Swindon flat. He is charged with criminal damage.

He may have been talking about work?
IIRC he's a copper (hence the ID I guess) so is likely to know some characters from the more colourful end of the scale.
