I don't drink tea when I'm out either. Never trust other people to make it how I like it. There's only so much that can go wrong with coffee whereas tea is infinitely variable.
Pretty much my feelings - I 've had too many bad cups from other people to risk it again.

Can we just be absolutely clear that anything involving mint, fruit, herbs, including that that good awful redbush stuff, twigs, mushrooms and any other random pot pourri or floor sweepings IS NOT FUCKING TEA!
Tea is brewed from the leaves / leaf buds of the tea bush, Camellia sinensis. Nothing else. It can be black, or green or white, if you want to be healthy and stuff.
The other stuff is just smelly hot water.

Completely agree. If I'm feeling flush then I might splash out on Yorkshire Gold. Tea of champions.
Yorkshire Gold is the king of teas.

Nettle tea is good...sometimes when out walking especially in a mild winter, I'll take a flask of hot water, find some fresh nettle shoots bung them in to make a tasty infusion. I was tempted to question R4E on this topic, but he clearly states that these infusions are an alternative to tea.

Risk it? It's a slightly less than satisfying hot beverage, not alligator-wrestling or skydiving.
