Redbush & Green tea for health reasons. Like the odd cuppa now and then (strong and sweet) but prefer coffee.

The longer the bag's left in, the better.
Yes yes yes. Too many people just scare the fucking bag, drives me nuts.

Yorkshire Tea, can't go wrong
Completely agree. If I'm feeling flush then I might splash out on Yorkshire Gold. Tea of champions.

Our PA doesn't drink tea herself and regularly brings me "tea" that can only be described as hot milky water with a tint of brown colour.

Fire her. It's the only recourse.

I like it strong AND milky. Why is that so hard to understand for some people?

We take our tea seriously here, and, whilst liking Yorkshire a lot, have decided that the Lidl Fair Trade tea bags are the best of the everyday.
Lapsang and Earl Gray are great, but must be Twinings

Whereabouts in Andover are you from? I spent my teenage years in Andover. Lived on River Way and went to Winton.

Meths.
A good strong cuppa is the perfect complement to meths.

so very much this. Often leave the bag in for 10 mins+. Assam is a big favourite in the morning, along with English Breakfast or Earl Grey, then switch to redbush chai or peppermint in the evening as I'm scared caffeine will affect my sleep. (Obviously the peppermint is without milk or sugar...)

Haven't got into Assam much but did enjoy it when I tried it. Tend to stick with a plain old brew, strong and milky a la jayo.
For alternatives, Lemon & Ginger is a good shout, but Camomile and Honey probably tops the list for me.

Another vote here for Assam, or PG Tips. The stronger the better, and absolutely NO sugar. Weak milky tea makes me heave.
