I wanted to listen to the Peterborough game on Saturday using my phone radio app, but it said live commentary wasn't being broadcast over the Internet due to contractual arrangements (or something like that). Is there a legit app that can be used (android). I don't know if it was down to the app I was using?

Nah, its down to the rights.  You generally cant get live broadcast over the internet which is what those apps use.  Tune in radio which I use is the same.

Bugger. It's a really good sound on the app I use,  time to hunt in the garage for my digital radio.

No there are no commentaries available on digital, which is used for the apps and online/tv.
I have tried a few on the phone and comp but no go.

Usually you can only get radio commentary if within fm radio range of either team ( providing local beeb radio is covering the game )

Bloody contractual agreements

I don't understand why, I mean does it matter what I use to listen to the same station?

If you have an STFC player account you can download the football league app (i think it was that one), and log-in & Listen via that

I've only a DAB radio and never had a problem, should be able to listen over a digital radio. You can't stream online though.

You can listen online via DAB if you are in the radio broadcasting area of BBC Wiltshire...but not if you live outside of the area apparently.
