I wouldn't really call it hostile. 'Lukewarm' would be a better description. Nothing that would put him off coming back, anyway, if things were to turn out that way.

What sort of reception did he get during the game?
Well, he wasn't booed.

Just a quick final word about Yaser. His goal was a delight. The way he lost his man was highly impressive. And he then just seemed to create acres of space as he advanced towards goal. Clever football from the Iraqi Pirlo.
Right. I'm off now for a 9 mile run. This will be fun.
The space for Yasser was created by Ranger (I think) who made a diagonal run taking two defenders with him, they didn't think he would shoot!!

To be fair, opening day of a new season is likely to be more popular than a cold weekend after Christmas when the bills from December are coming in.
Still, us taking about double the number is impressive given the expectations at the start of the season. Or poor from them. Or both.

Have a look at their form over the last 10/12 games.

Like the Sky Blues match I was glad we hung on to win. Posh bossed the second half and we played on the break....our second was superb, only eclipsed by the Posh goal...what a fucking strike off the bar...I clapped whilst shouting bollocks! Hopefully turn over Stevenage...in two minds if I go or not....
