I cant see how he will ever play in the first team again, has he not only got to play another few games and it triggers a clause to pay out another £20,000, surely we don't want ot be doing that if budgets are tight

Dont think the poor sods knee will last that long. Seems to be a recurring issue every few games.

What are the options? We've reportedly paid a fee to Brighton for Barker so it seems we can afford some spending. The fact is we need another defender. Where would we find a decent one of Troy's calibre for less than that figure of £20,000? We'll still be paying his salary even if he doesn't play.

How can anyone know what Troy's calibre is after all this time?

Should have had ginger nut knees... (Dammit, now I want a stack of those and a cup of tea.)

Rich tea biscuits. They can last 10 minutes of dunking without falling apart.

Fuck off. Rich Teas are awful for dunking! Let's just hope Troy's knees don't go up and take the CG with them.

I wonder whether games out on loan count towards the trigger?
If not, the only thing we can do is loan him out, get the other team to pay a portion of the wage, hope he impresses enough so that we can sell him or cancel contract so he can join someone else.

He's out of contract end of season and reportedly on a high wage so I'm sure he will be released regardless
