Just heard that Eusebio has died. Definitely one of the greats and was lucky enough to see him at Wembley when Utd beat Benfica in the '68 European Cup.

 Sad

Great player, brave in a time when if you got tackled it really hurt...he was clobbered for years yet his sportsmanship was akin to the same shown by Pele.
As a young boy who loved footy Eusebio was one of the great players i remember.

It was the sportsmanship that I remember....Ticker mentions the 68 game...Eusebio was through on goal fires in a shot, which Stepney catches with a fantastic stop...Eusebio goes up and applauds him. What it should be about, after all it's only a game.

One of the greatest. Ever. The term world class is used to frequently. Not in his case.

Sad loss to the game. Will give Portugal a perfect incentive to put in a great showing at the World Cup to commemorate him. In a top 10 of all time.
