This is the point for me though having said that, of course, Parkin, Austin and Cox were more special as strikers.
For me, STFCs play as a whole has been significantly more convincing with Ranger starting.
Would be interested to know whether or not this observation, already made by many, is borne out by results
According to swindon-town-fc.co.uk our success rate with Ranger in the team is 61.1%, P18 W10 D2 L6. I don't know what our success rate is without him in the side, I'll leave that to someone who can do simple arithmetic properly.

Good site to check
Taking your extracted figures, Sonic, STFC has a record without Ranger of Won 4 Drawn 2 Lost 4 as compared to Won 10, Drawn 2 Lost 6 when he has played.
Whether it's new players or new systems that are needed to replace Ranger, the stats as well as our own eyes bear out his worth.

Ducking out of this argument but this does prove that whilst he may be a twat of the highest order - he will be missed

The irony eh! Probably hoping for a game, don't think we were over blessed with striking options so he might have got one too.

I may be in the minority here but I hope Thursdays talks finally hammer home some sense into Ranger. Hoping they give him one final chance instead of tearing up his contract. New year new start and all that. We are much weaker without Ranger that's for sure.

How many more chances does the cunt need? I thought we had a contract so tight that if he farted we could sack him. I agree we're a much better team with him in it but the cunt has to turn up for training. From a managers point of view how do you train the team for the game on Saturday regardless of whether the idle cunt makes an appearance. What do they do in training. Dany can you stand in for Ranger during training but if he turns up on Saturday, you're on the bench. Unfortunately he's had his chance. We forgave him once when he missed a batch of training. Now he's done it again. The key here is to get Ranger to recognise his behaviour. Fat fucking chance of that. He's a train crash and if he ain't jailed in January, its delaying the inevitable.

His display at Macclesfield was woeful and then we realised that prior to this he was missing training. As most have said how many more chances as it's being going on for some time now.
