I cant recall any trouble here the last time we played Cov but a post on one of their forums

Lets hope there's no shennanigans from their chavs like the last Time.

Coupled with the below posted on FB on wednesday from the landlord of the Glue Pot

Quote
It is with regret that I have to announce that following consultation with the Football Intelligence Officer at Swindon Police we will not be opening until 1500 hrs on 21/12/13.
The Glue Pot has been selected by the hooligan element of football as the venue for their fight! Unfortunately I am not prepared to take the chance on having the pub destroyed for the sake of 3 hours trade.
Deepest apologies to the many home & away fans who normally enjoy good beer together in the GP and often walk to the game together! — feeling disappointed at Glue Pot Inn.

They have apparently sold out the Arkells allocation and are now selling the bank ( heavy rain forecast saturday so fuck their luck

Maybe a little exaggerated too unless they moved St Joseph's further away especially for Coventry.

I find it amusing that they call our ground a dump.

At least we have one.

But they have a nice drawing of a new one, they just don't know where:

Annoyingly, the Glue Pot has been used by a Coventry's London lot for years as a meeting place (along with our own London lot.)  They had a really decent group there last time they came here.

Odd spot for the hoolies to choose really...out on a limb, slightly.  If they were planning on causing trouble in the Railway Village, I'm not sure anyone would have noticed.

Apart from the bloke who plonked himself next to me asked what our average home attendance was, then proceeded to castigate me, like it was my fault, and tell me how much better their's was.

I was looking forward to seeing him again and discussing the concept of irony.

This from the Coventry website -

"All in all a great day out despite the weather, one negative being those bald inbred fucks who walked into the terraced stand at kick off looking for a fight, then left at 3:10 to 'go to the pub' no doubt (then again they headed in the direction of the bogs and several of them had earrings so who knows what they were upto) they were a minority as are 'firms' these days, but there is no place for their types in modern football, as Alan Partridge would say they are SCUM SUBHUMAN SCUM"

What's the terraced stand ?
