I see an Ipswich apprentice from the 80's is suing the club - including the goalkeeper, Fox and manager Mick Mills - over an alleged humiliating initiation ceremony historically called 'The Finger'.
I wonder what that entailed? Similar to our Yellow friends banana, perhaps!

I've literally just been reading that part of Gary Neville's Autobiography..he says that the initiation for all Youth Team Players going to the First Team had to 'make love' to a Clayton Blackmore poster which was laid out on a physio table. They'd make them do it over and over if it wasn't 'romantic enough'. Although there wasn't any mention of it involving bodily fluids... |
