I went for an interview up there but decided I'd rather earn less money and not live in that shithole.

I'm near Wantage. It's still windy, though.

Very windy here in Lancashire. Heavy rain half the morning too. Glad I'm indoors!

I have train tickets booked to Glasgow for a wedding this weekend.  I may be driving it instead.

Fairly windy in Worcester, although a mate of mine who is a lorry driver in Scotland is apparently having a bad day.

Been a bit blowy in Lancaster today and looking at the trains I am glad I am off work today and didn't have the battle to and from Manchester to deal with.

Our bin has blown over and the lid has blown down the path but we have a strong community here... We will rebuild.

BBC are camped out in Cleethorpes at the moment waiting for some disaster or other. Trees down in our village and some garden furniture rearranged but nothing to serious so far

As much as I despise the wind, I sort of miss it.

I remember well the howl of the wind outside later in the year, particularly before double glazing become common place.

It does get very, very, very fucking wet in this neck of the woods with some very impressively verocious electric storms but Thailand offers little to nothing by way off a good gale.
