Sorry, got the wrong end of the stick. It did feel like a landmark moment when we signed him though, a statement that the club was being run very differently now.

I'd imagine Paolo would have been okay with computer game tournaments, as long as they had all done their homework first(!) and were sat with their feet up. Better than spending all afternoon in the pub/bookies/tattoo parlour.

Agree Tails, I still hold a grudge for that game! Not sure if it's against the ref, Bournemouth or both!

Great idea to sign him - but now as it looks like he seems unable/unwilling to change his outlook it's time to get in a player who actually gives a shit about being a footballer.

We won't know whether it was worth the risk until we
   a) Know if he is still part of our plans/not a rapist
   b) if he's out the picture, whether we can get an adequate replacement in
   c) whether it causes a slide in form

Re: his tweets, they sound more like someone who's split up with a girlfriend or lost a mate. Although it's not helping the teams performance with him not playing he has got a hell of a lot of shit to deal with atm and, when we took him on, it must've been realised that he would need to take time out at some point for this legal case.
