So who are the ones that have not performed as well as expected?

Think it was more a case of if there are any who haven't performed as well as expected, then they might be ones to move on, rather than definite individuals who've underperformed?

Presume he may also mean the ones on 6 month contracts who haven't quite 'made it'...are El Gabas/Branco on 6 month deals or longer? We haven't seen much of Branco, but suspect he'll be playing next Tuesday against Wycombe, and El Gabas I haven't made my mind up about yet.

DIRECTOR of football operations Lee Power is not expecting any new players to arrive at Swindon Town before the opening of the January transfer window.
“We are always on the lookout and we are out at games every week with our mind on the January window, but nothing will happen I wouldn’t have thought until then unless something extreme happens,” he said.
Surely Lee Power is saying that no players are expected to arrive AFTER the January transfer window opens, unless there's an injury.

We can bring in loans before the transfer window. I presume that is what the article refers to.

Hopefully this will satisfy the 'Thisis' poster who recently demanded a club statement on why we haven't used the loan market.
We will of course need cover if Hall or Ward are injured, but loans can be found at very short notice (I'm sure Spurs would lend us another), and which club is going to send a player here to be used solely as a back up option who will only play in event of injury to our first choice pairing.
Power's recruitment has been very impressive so far and long may that continue.

I still read that as nothing will happen until January. But your interpretation makes more sense as I doubt anyone expected more ins until January anyway, so why make a point of it.
