Trying him in a higher division.....sensible...

If he has a goal ratio like the one he had at Supermarine....it could be interesting..

Different approach than with the others we have had. Should we be getting excited about this lad?

Maybe some of the lady TEFers and  :gay:  but Supermarine are currently playing at more or less park kick about football level, so banging in a few for them isn't much of a big thing.

Conference North, is a bit of a step up.

But with the other lads that have won the competition, the club has kept them with the main squad and done little with them. I wondered whether this approach meant he was better than the rest or much worse than the rest?

Lets hope he manages it then. I gave up predictions when Austin came, then stepped up to the Championship.

i'm not sure that means he'll be good enough to make an impact for us, just that he's showing promise.

could be that we're trying to give him the chance to establish some sort of career too.

Austin was banging them in at a lower level tbf.

Or that we have a board and management team that want to develop players somewhat more than those previously.

Supermarine play at a much better level then park football. Park footballers would look like Vincent Pericard for the town if they were thrown into their side.

Jackson is decent, not doubt about it. Whether he is up to pro football is another thing. I think the club are doing him right with gradual step ups in class at a time. Good luck to him

Also....if he goes out and proves himself, he could sign an extended contract and we could potentially get some money for him (if we weren't planning on keeping him, that is).
