I got no grudge against him over that contract, it was those cunts who thought it was clever and financially prudent to negotiate it in the first place

I think he would have played the Ranger role quite well at the start of the season. Far better than anyone we had prior to him joining.

I liked him (compared to Williams), but think I preferred Collins. He certainly scored some important goals for us, and if I could be bothered to go to Oldham, I'd give him a slight ripple of applause.

If he remains in contract dispute (I thought it was sorted) with us that would suggest that the argument is that he has some manner of remaining valid contract with the club. On that basis can he actually play against us if he is claiming a contractural basis remains?

I'd understood it that neither side were claiming he is still in contract but that he's claiming he's still owed money from the contract that was in force i.e. it's not been paid up in full. But I may have that wrong. Don't much care either way. |
