Back in 97, two doors down from the Clown and Bard you could get beer from the offy for 13p. Best of all when you took the empty bottles back you used to get 6p per bottle, so buy a crate, drink it, take the crate back, and buy more beer with the deposit money.  Loved the place back then, old town square, Karlov Most, JJ's, The Chapeau Rouge, Praha Sports Bar (which closed in 98 I think).

That does look very good.

Friend of mine has told me Legia Warsaw ultras are better, and that's mainly what we go for. So will have a look at them before we book up!

I worked in Krakow for a few years. It's beautiful adn full of stuff to do / see and plenty of bars, cafes and clubs.. something for everyone and not yet spoilt by tourism, although going that way... Warsaw I don't know as well, just a few days trips. The old town is good (rebuilt replica after being bombed in the war), the place is much more industrial with some of it's Russian architectural influences but is probably better for shopping if that's what you're into :-)
