My boiler is not firing the pilot light, I think the wire into the board is to blame. Anyone know how much this is likely to cost to fix? I don't want to get ripped off  Smiley

Boiler specialists  Hmmm  DMR or Bogus Dave would seem your best bet.

Does it light the pilot light but it goes out straight away? If so it's probably the thermocouple lead can usually get a universal one from b&q home base that type of store piece of piss to fit

No, nothing happens. You can wiggle the cable that goes into the PCB and it runs fine, other times it doesn't, loose connection. If I flick the fuse switch off can I remove the PCB casing and have a look?

Mmm beyond my very little knowledge, but I would guess that as long as the main switch is off there would be no harm in looking at the PCB it may just need a wire soldering.

I had sex with a princess once. Oh hang on that wasn't funny in 1979 either. One  real tip would be don't ring Worcester bosch if you have one. Dirty bastards signed me up to an annual contract without me knowing after I had them out for a one off  repair.
