I guess the 5 will be N. Thompson, Ranger, Kasim, Ward and Fods out, with Barthram, El Gabbas, L. Thompson, Branco and Belford in. Would have been nice to rest a few others. Could always substitute someone like Luongo after a minute, unless that's bringing the game into disrepute.

Why does this rule exist for the pointless JPT, but not in the League Cup for example, where Premiership teams play entire first XI's made of youths and reserves?

He did indicate in an interview when asked about Belford that he had the opportunity to give him a game tonight, whether he will or not we will have to wait and see, but I think he will play him. |

But what happens if you have say 2 suspended and then have played Preston the week before and thus have 4 injured by Davies? |

I don't mind the rule since it probably attracts sponsors, but the fact the league cup doesn't have the rule I agree is somewhat stupid.
