THE YASER KASIM STORY: How a cult hero was born

FROM playing in goal in a 25-a-side kickabout on the scalding tarmac of Baghdad to pulling the strings against Chelsea’s millions, Yaser Kasim’s route to cult hero status at Swindon Town is the path less trodden.

A really interesting read - as Sam says a case of following the path less trodden for Yasser.

Athough Yas has had to be as tough and brave off the field as he is on it, his simple love of playing shines through.

Long may Yaser thrive at the CG

Echo all above. Very interesting article and great story. Really hope Yaser stays with us for the foreseeable!
I think that it says a lot about the man that he jumped from Tottenham when he recognised that other players ahead of him were stagnating. Takes balls to do that!

Very glad someone recognised his talent and brought him to Swindon!
