Strange one...in some ways I applaud McCrory for this, but know it will make fuck all difference as it isn't a conspiracy despite what Dosser might think...it's always been thus, dirty norvern bastards kick southern, svelte, sophisticates off the park.
Barnsley set the template in 1912 by putting "our 'arlold" out of the game for 6 months during the FA cup semi final.

"And the meek shall inherit the earth". Well they haven't yet.
Well done Jed. Say nothing and nothing gets done. Say something and something may get done....
Worked for SAF did it not? Yeah, yeah he's no SAF and we're no Manchester United but the does not mean we should not strive to be so.
If the club said nothing and we get clattered every week will not take long for fans to call for something to e done about it.
What it does show is that the club and MC are doing the iChat things in the right way and the others are more than concerned about it.

I cringed slightly as I read it, but it might just make the ref think twice about how he reacts to tackles tomorrow. Doubt it'll have any effect beyond then, apart from alerting any teams that haven't already worked it out that we don't like it up us, so to speak.

Speaking of Kevin Davies, reminds me of seeing him for the first time, playing for Chesterfield in 95. They had Darren Carr a typical neanderthal Div 3 centre half. Carr dumped Wayne O'Sullivan in front of the south side, now Wayne was only little, so some fella jumps out from the terrace and squares up to Carr...before being escorted away by coppers etc. A few years later I recall a fella jumping out of the TE, to have a word with an opposition player who was facing up to SSP.

Man the fuck up and get on with it. There is already more than sufficient laws in place to deal with bad tackles.
Platini and Blatter have made the game as tippy tappy attacker biased as it needs to be.
We always get shit refs. So what.
This letter and importantly it's publicity is an embarrassment.

If I was the opposition I'd just kick a bit harder. Where's our PR person, surely she should have stopped this. The sentiment is right but it just comes across as immature.

...from our players! I wouldn't be surprised if we finish with 10 men tomorrow.

Wouldn't be surprised if we finish with 9. Bit like the mob coming and smashing up your shop if you dobbed someone in to the police. Sends a message to leave well alone...

The problem is not other teams being too physical, we're not being physical enough. You can put that down to us having a very small squad.
