If Town lose the appeal the ban increases to 4 matches does it not?

In our experience, yes (a la Douglas) our claims are 'spurious' whereas others are reasonable appeals and stick with 3.

If we appeal we'll lose it and get a 4 match suspension, that's my guess anyway.

Don't appeal. They will only overturn a flagrant error, not a matter of judgment. This is exactly what will happen.

Afraid not, this is Swindon v. the FA.

If we lose the appeal Byrne will be banned for life, jailed for 6 months and we will be docked 12 points.

Waste of time...

Unless its a top player playing for a top six side in the Prem...you are fucked or its a massive error, like the ref sending off the wrong bloke.

This will stand.

We've got a decent squad now. Maybe time to see what this Barthram guy is like?

Ginger and even smaller than Byrne.

Thompson & Jay Mac have the full back slots filled, it will be a case of who to put on the wing. My guess is Ajose will go there.

Ah yeah, Byrne is a winger now isn't he. Ajose or N'Guessan give good options.
