Just watched the highlights on the FL show The 3rd goal was even better than I remembered it Great win back by Kasim in their pen area, couple of drag backs and the killer flick thru to Mason  |

When the bbc did their season preview they earmarked him as the man to watch from our team. At first I thought they were joking but now I can see why. I hope we have an option for another year on his deal.

How did he struggle for game time in the conference? I can only imagine that it's the style of play..

A couple if weeks ago I posted that he reminded me of the good Johnathan Douglas, since then he has got even better.
If he keeps improving he is going to be a Town legend

Kasim was the leader and most important player anchoring the midfield of our great 1991 generation (Caulker, Townsend, Mason etc.)
Those who followed that team regulary most had Kasim as their favourite player (him and Mason mostly).
Kasim left as he got angry of the youth recruitment policy at Spurs, he felt that those brought in for big money (Parrett, Bostock, Rose etc.) were given more game time and advantage ahead of those who had been with Spurs for years.
Was probably a bit hot headed decision, that set him back at least a year, he went long time without any football. Hopefully he's back on track now.

Well it worked to our advantage We now have him and indeed Luongo because of their continued policy of buying the world and not needing their own academy players |
