SWINDON TOWN: Cooper will only bring in additions for the right reasons

WITH the summer transfer window closing quickly, Swindon Town are running out of time to recruit new faces to their ranks. Manager Mark Cooper, however, has stressed that no one will be brought in just for the sake of bolstering numbers.

At Shrewsbury Jed boasted of a new £450,000 striker to join in the next few days, last week two players were being touted as the next signings - and we were even told that the FL had not processed their transfers in time, and here we are just a couple of days from the window slamming shut and still no action!! It would appear that the right reasons are nobody wants to come/we cannot afford them!!

One thing jed is very good at is telling people what they want to hear.

let's wait until the window has slammed before moaning at him too much.I don't think he's the idiot he plays up to and I can't believe we won't replace Williams.

From what I have heard the player lined up was Emile Sinclair whos fee would come to £450k in total after an initial £125k and then installments etc.

The Football League for whatever reason refused to sanction the deal which has not been explained.

I don't blame Jed for stating this publically as he thought the deal was done, but he should keep quiet until its done, but then again people will always find something to moan about...he tells us things...he doesnt tell us things etc etc. He cant win over some fans it would seem and probably never will.
