See what you mean, but I'd never class Blackburn that way - despite their having won the league. I bought 16 tickets for that game (for a group at work)...so demand can hardly have been at fever pitch. Villa last season felt like more of a 'big' game. The last 'superpower' at the County Ground was possibly as far back as the 1993/94 Premiership season?
Neither do I but the were Champions elect so they have a case. Status' change, Chelsea were mid-table fodder back then so Blackburn-Shearer-and-all would have been more exciting at that time.

Was that 4-0 game on TV for some odd reason? I'm sue I have a memory of watching a random game of ours on TV around that period that wasn't a league game.
1st Town game I ever went to, missed at least the opener as we struggled to park! Thought it was earlier than 1988.

sorry if I've missed it but any idea when ticket details will be online? I'm going to be back for this game so will be gutted if I miss it. City and Chelsea at home in the same week will be pretty decent for my first fixtures since Portsmouth.

Delayed comment on this, but what a great draw, under the lights at The CG, on the telly against Jose Mourinho's Chelsea...really looking forward to this, should be a good money earner!

Samuel Morshead tweeted he hadnt heard anything when I tweeted him earlier. I suppose we will be looking at next week. Might be a chance to have bumper gate this weekend missed.

Supposed to be Though so early in the season not gonna be much difference in the amount of points ppl have Mine were manually adjusted at start August and still show have 15 despite games since then so hardly an up to date method
How many points do you get per game? Mine has a load of tickets I have brought listed with points as 0! I hope if they use myworld points to allocate tickets they update the system!!!

Ah that's a bit annoying, my tickets have been bought at the gate for pretty much every game.

You have +15 loyalty points, awarded for Swindon Town v Crewe Alexandra (Sky Bet Football League 2013/14) on 30/08/2013, 06:30 . You have +15 loyalty points, awarded by manual adjustment on 07/08/2013, 11:23

I remeber that game really well, White and Bamber were unplayable that night and Calderwood marked England striker Kerry Dixon out of the game.

Would have expected away game to be worth more than home, not that it really matters I suppose
