It's not working for him here which is a shame, as he looked awesome first half of last year. Get some money in and bring another striker in!

Not the player he was since he had that injury, good move for STFC to ship him out and get someone in who can play the lone-striker role better.

Hopefully we're not relying on Ranger as a replacement for Williams if he leaves, we could find ourselves truly fucked in late January.

Presuming that Ranger will be our first choice forward, I would rather see Williams taking the position that Storey/Reis have in recent weeks.

Seconded. Should free up a decent wage. Its a shame it hasn't worked out for Williams. Before his injury he looked as though he was going to be a great signing. There's a player in there.

Definitely not the same player since his injury, doesn't appear to have the same killer instinct since he challenged the keeper against Yeovil and came off second best.

Shame, but probably best he moves on as it doesn't appear he can play in our favoured formations.

I'm not sure how useful he'll be there to be honest... and I think we need another striker.

Can't say I would be comfortable with Williams going really, although unpopular I would say at the moment he is our only match fit and half decent striking option. I am confident Ranger will come good in time once he is fit but he is a gamble and may not be here for too long if things don't turn out well with his trial.

That leaves Storey who I have made my views clear on. Needs a loan spell in League 2 really.

Williams hasn't been the same since PdC went but I reckon we would miss him looking at our current options. He can also play out wide.

Him going would leave us needing two strikers really.
