I'd be astonished if we signed him permanently when we already have him on loan. Why would we want to pay all his wages when Spurs are presumably footing at least part of the bill?

Got to be referring to the new manager.
Because he is a good player, who we may be able to get on a instalment basis and eventually sell for more down the line

Would be happy with signing him full time, instead of on loan.

However is twitter comments could be anything. He may have found a new flat for example assuming he was otherwise in the hotel with the others

I fear the worst..think if we'd have been getting a proper manager, there would have been a bit more Board hype. It's going to be a long season.

I think that others have been approached but reckon that the player recruitment policy and style of play is the main issue with whoever comes in or if Cooper takes over. Those decisions were made by others, not the interim boss. So in conclusion is the new manager really that important?

Well yes it is...I accept your point that the coach has to work within te constraints imposed form above, but even so there are still some possibilities for tactical creativity and visionary coaching within this set up.

Interesting.

Would free up another loan position if we were able to make this move permanent.

That's the thing about the internet, you don't always know who is serious with their views and who is trolling under a pseudonym.

At least Tans & bros troll under their own name.

Not seen this tweet though will have a looksk.

Uh, I was replying to a DRS post suggesting Luongo was leaving Spurs. I can't get twitter at work so no real idea what was being said.

If you are going to call people useless fuckers, my suggestion would be at least to spell useless correctly to avoid looking like a bit of a pleb. Wink
