Just got back. We were poor. But we're still spending money and signing players....the new manager story is a red herring, we've splashed out 400k+ on a striker. From Turkey. With the initials JJ.

some more experience and physicality on the road if we are to pick up enough points for the expected promotion charge. relegation battle.

And to add to that:

Plan B is needed, as this sort of football style wont be easy when the pitches start digging up.

Please stop fannying around at the back, sometimes it's better clearing your lines than trying to find a pass with two players on you.

It's sometimes good to watch, but it's finding the right blend.

I would've kept Williams on, and kept two up front when chasing the game late on. The 20% fit Ranger won a lot of challenges, but no one there to lay it off to.

Are home form and pitch will be vital on our position.

I thought you were joking.

Then Google told me Jervis was genuinely playing in Turkey.

Shirely not.

Watch this space. Or BBC Wilts or the Official site. Dont watch the Adver, they dont break stories anymore due to an alleged lack of trust. Its a TTE.com exclusive.

Agree with Dr Chang,
This was a very poor performance. Totally controlled by an average Shrewsbury side. I thought Ranger done more in his 15 minutes than the rest of the team did in 90
 Entertainment value, zilch.
The supporters who travelled by coach when asked to name their mom refused to name anyone such was the their apathy.
A few more players like Ranger would'nt go amiss

That can't be true

We paid £100k for Byrne so it seems quite possible. Utterly ridiculous if true.

I think it's fair to say that 400k for Jake Jervis would not be a bargain. If we were paying say, 0k then fair enough. 400k is insane though*

*if true.

I'd much rather we signed Leon Clarke then paid £450k for Jervis to be honest, at least Clarke scores lots of goals.

As said above - this lot spent a 'significant' sum on Nathan Byrne - it wouldn't surprise me at all if we spent silly money on Jake Jervis.

It would surprise me if we blow that much on him. It would surprise me if we paid anything other than a nominal.

So either we're skint and haven't got a pot to piss on or we're wasting hundreds of thousands of pounds on shit players like Byrne and possibly Jervis - which is it?
