There's every reason for the board to believe this player might be available. Look him up online and see his playing record over the last few seasons. Then look at the size of the squad Bournemouth have and the number of forwards on their books. Then consider he was a non-league forward that they signed when in the lower reaches of the league pyramid and that they're now "building a premiership push in the championship". All players are for sale. When a manager says they're not he's just saying "not at that price". |

They are very light upfront at the moment but your other points stand. Would be a very good signing, I was expecting a kid on loan...it may well still be a kid on loan but going after the likes of Clarke and Thomas is a good sign. RWB Robin - Ritchie is injured. |

Some of their fans are suggesting that his injury maybe a cover up and that he hasn't looked interested albeit playing out of position. They reckon they are wanting to bring in at least one more striker but would be happier if Thomas was only loaned out as they still think he has enough to offer them. |
