Been reading some opinions on a Torquay site. Glad to see he hasn't disappointed.

"Hewlett: 2/10 and he¡¯s lucky to get
that. While i will not condone people
verbally attacking a player during the
match, after it is another matter.  He
was dreadful, poor positioning, poor
challenges, useless passes, can not
remember what he did to deserve a two,
maybe im just a kind and generous
person."

"The problem is the midfield - or to be
more precise Hewlett. He was awful,
truly awful. He never once broke out of
a jog, won a header or tackle or
completed a pass. When anybody else had
the ball, he made no sign that he wanted
it. There were quite a few ironic cheers
and boos when he got subbed. One of my
mates booed, which i don't neccessarily
agree with but I think the sentiment was
there in all of us who saw him last
night"

"Hewlett - dear oh dear
(however don't agreeing with a minority
of fans booing him when he went off -
out of order !!)"

"the real
disappointment was Hewlett who did
nothing going forward and is by no
means a midfield ball winner so what
he is in the side for i am not sure."

"Hewlett - having talked up his
signing, I take it all back. Game
passed him by, as did the OXford
midfielders every time they
approached. Awful."

"Hewlett (absolutely
anonymous)"

" hewlett in my opinion
especially disappointing. "

"Lowlights, sorry once again....Hewlett.
Was this guy really Swindons captain
and inspiration? Really?Huh? "

I knew he was shite the first time I ever saw him play at home to Wrexham 03/04.  He was far too dirty, crap in the air, slow and his passing was poo.
