If anyone can find the substance in there, please let me know. Glad the scouting is working out though!

Who are the Birmingham donkeys he's referring to?
Nice little mention of Luton town in amongst the famous English (and Welsh) teams which play good passing football!!

What the...erm, OK then. Not sure this clears anything up. When the Birmingham donkies follow the trawler.. The feedback Im getting is that its been a great trip for them so far. They did have a development game which they won, he said.
And we thought the media ban would devoid us of match reports.

I read it as the targeting of players (according to Jed) was a collaborative process including the board members and coaching staff as well as Wyscout ( http://wyscout.com/) Assume the Birmingham donkeys in reference to Steve Murrall being a Brum fan and suggesting shit players from there?

We have had some entertaining sides down the years....some more successful than others. I'd suggest though all those sides have had a core of very good players, mixed with a bit of steel at the back or in midfield....so for example would the Ardiles/Hoddle sides been able to function without Ross McBlobby....would the Danny Williams/Fred Ford sides of the mid 60's into 70's have functioned without Joe Butler?
To some extent, the changes in laws governing yellow cards etc, mean that the midfield "reducer" has become the "water carrier" nevertheless most top sides have someone who can dictate a game, by resorting to cunning and match play rather than relying on pure football.
I suppose we've got Alan Navarro, but will he play many games?

Maybe this Yasser Kasim fella will play when Navarro doesn't - Who knows? Looking forward to seeing how frail, skillful, minute, pitiful, inexperienced, hungry, entertaining etc we are when we finally take the pitch!

"It Aint 'Alf Hot Mum", has fallen foul of PC, so never gets repeated on the Beeb, which is a shame as it's a classic.

Same! From the little I've seen of the new additions, barring Tjiane & Mason as I haven't seen either, we seem to have quite a quick mobile team. Get a couple of early positive results and who knows! (Really trying to convince myself here!) The line-up below doesn't look too bad does it? Fods Nath, Ward, Hall, Byrne Luongo, Smith Mason Pritchard, Tjiane Williams

We need a goal scorer and for me Williams isn't one, apart from that looks promising.
