??

This would suggest that he's not a fan of dear ol' Ferry.

He won't be down there with Portsmouth for long.

It's not like he was an integral part in two play-off seasons in the league above was it?  Doh

So, Si Ferry was a fans favourite. He served us well. However, the terms of his contract didn't fit in with the new direction.  But, sometimes, you just have to let go.

yes, but don't get personal  Cheesy

I don't see a stack of league one and championship clubs queuing up to take him do you? hence he's ended up at a league 2 club in freefall.

He clearly doesn't make a great first impression, as his struggles to get a club and a couple of managers' initial reluctance to pick him would indicate. Think we can all agree he's a more than handy League 1 player though when in form, would probably be better than that if he could shoot.

Don't think Pompey are in freefall anymore either, fancy they'll piss that league this season.

I thought he might have stayed in League 1 - perhaps joining Darby and Connell at Bradford.

I see he's taken a decent paycut to join Pompey.

For someone that was so well regarded here, I'm a bit surprised he didn't have more offers. Seems that he had a trial at Yeovil and that was about it.

Interesting article here, puts our £2.4mill budget into context somewhat....Pompeys budget this season is £1.2mill.
